About Us
Where do we play?
Mason Park in Homebush, Sydney, and we compete in the Canterbury District Soccer Football Association (CDSFA). We currently field four teams across Men’s All Age Divisions 1, 3 and 6, as well as an Over 35s team in Division 1.
Every squad is competitive and made up of players from all nationalities and walks of life. We’re proud to be an inclusive club and welcome anyone who wants to be part of MRP FC.
History
In early 2016, two mates were keen to get back into regular football after a year out of the game. With some coaching, leadership (arguably) and administration skills behind them, they recognised the link between their physical and mental health and the benefits of being part of a team unit.
But where would they find an association that did not dictate you need several adult and children's teams already set up and a boat full of money?
Enter the Sydney Amateur Football League (SAFL), an association that welcomed clubs from all regions of Sydney and encouraged flexibility.
MRP FC was born. After initial Gumtree adverts, Meetup posts, word of mouth and trials (all self-funded), we now have a great squad of players that are about to embark on their 9th season as a club.
