Traffic and Parking Management Plan

This Traffic and Parking Management Plan (TMP) has been prepared to manage vehicle and pedestrian movements associated with MRP FC home matches and training sessions at Mason Park, Homebush. The plan aims to minimise congestion, ensure safety for players, officials, spectators and local residents, and demonstrate responsible use of public facilities.

• Facilitate smooth entry and exit of vehicles and pedestrians.

• Minimise traffic congestion on surrounding roads.

• Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.

• Provide adequate parking for different user groups, including accessibility provisions.

Parking

​​​

Ticketed Parking is available in the Mason Park public car park.  

Use of the car park is limited to park users only and is frequently

patrolled by Council rangers.

​

Limited Street Parking is available along Underwood Rd and

adjacent residential streets.

​​​

Where possible we encourage members to coordinate shared rides so

as to minimise the affect on local traffic and parking.

​

Underwood Road can experience significant congestion, so we

recommend allowing extra travel time when planning your departure.

Mason Park is on the Bay to Bay Cycle Way! Consider cycling and leave the car at home.
